FLORENCE - The Lander baseball team blasted three home runs Saturday afternoon as the Bearcats defeated Coker College, 7-3, in a non-conference game in the Swamp Fox Challenge.

Lander improves to 4-1 overall.

Robert Skinner (1-for-3 two runs scored), Bud Lanier (1-for-4) and Nate Mangiapane (3-for-4, two RBI) all homered for the Bearcats.

Devin Ridlehoover went 2-for-5 with one double and one run scored, AJ Nunziato went 2-for-3 with one double and three RBI, and Josh Lovvorn went 2-for-5 with one run scored.

Billy Veal (2-0) earned the win in 4.1 innings of relief.

Coker's Justin Collier took the loss.
