GREENWOOD - Melissa McCracken had seven kills and eight digs and Courtney Simmons added six kills to lead the Lander volleyball team to a 3-0 non-conference victory over Queens University of Charlotte Tuesday night in Horne Arena. Game scores were: 25-13, 25-21, 25-16.

Lander improves to 14-9 overall, while Queens drops to 6-17.

Abbey Focht added 12 assists, seven digs and six service aces in the victory and Chelsey Corgan had 13 digs.

Queens was led by Brittany Harvey (six kills), Erin Moore (10 assists), and Sarah Malpass (12 digs).

Lander will host the nine-team, 13-game Play for the Cure tournament this Friday and Saturday in Horne Arena.
