SALISBURY, N.C. - The Catawba College volleyball team snapped Lander's four-game win streak Tuesday night when it defeated the Bearcats, 20-25, 25-20, 26-24, 25-17, in a non-conference game.

Catawba improves to 8-6, while Lander slips to 13-4.

Lander was led by Kay Stewart (11 kills, two solo blocks, four block assists), Kerri Sorensen (10 kills, five digs), Candace LaRocca (37 assists, eight digs), Marina Camps (15 digs) and Ashley Ferry (11 digs).

Catawba was led by Melissa Griffith and Melissa Powers, who had 16 kills and 10 digs each, while Megan Courson had 47 assists and five digs and Mai Zoua Lo had eight kills and 17 digs.
