DUE WEST - The No. 21-ranked Lander men's soccer team recorded its fourth shut out of the season Wednesday night when it defeated rival Erskine College, 1-0, in a non-conference contest.

Lander improves to 4-1 overall, while Erskine drops to 4-2.

Junior Adam Arthur scored the game's lone goal on an assist from Jamie Davison in the 76th minute.

Lander goalkeeper Billy Hale had four saves, while Erskine's Ronnie Murray had five. Lander and Erskine had 10 shots each and Lander led in corner kicks, 4-3.
