TIGERVILLE - Aaron Brittain and Ivan Stoykov scored two goals each Saturday afternoon to lead the No. 12-ranked Lander men's soccer team to a 4-0 non-conference victory over North Greenville University.

Lander improves to 3-1 overall.

After a scoreless first half, the Bearcats went to work. Brittain gave the Bearcats a 1-0 lead on a cross from Stoykov at 58:00, then stretched the lead to 2-0 on an assist from Adam Arthur at 67:00.

Stoykov scored his first goal at 73:00 on a one-on-one with NGU goalkeeper Nick Williams, then added the final goal of the game at 86:00.

Lander outshot the Crusaders, 17-11, and led in corner kicks, 8-3.

Lander goalkeeper Scott Playle recorded nine saves in the shutout, while NGU's Williams had 13 saves.
