GSW improves to 4-10 overall and 2-1 in the PBC, while Lander falls to 4-7, 1-2.
In the first game, GSW's RM Cozza (1-0) earned the win in relief, striking out one, walking one and allowing one earned run on two hit in 1.2 innings pitched.
Lander's Nathan Roubicek (0-2) took the loss as he struck out two, walked one and allowed four runs (none earned) on three hits in two innings pitched.
For Lander, Robert Skinner (1-for-5, two runs scored, one RBI), Josh Lovvorn (1-for-5, one run), Brooks Arnette (2-for-5, one run, two RBI) and Gabe McCann (1-for-3, one run, one RBI) all doubled. TJ Guinan went 2-for-4 with one run scored and two RBI.
In the second game, the Hurricane's Bud Fuller (1-0) earned the win in one inning of relief as he struck out three and allowed one hit.
Lander's Craig Roberson (2-1) suffered the loss as he allowed two runs (one earned) in 0.1 innings in the bottom of the ninth.
For Lander, McCann went 2-for-4 with two doubles, two runs scored and one RBI and Nate Mangiapane went 3-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Lovvorn went 2-for-4 and Guinan went 2-for-4 with one RBI.
