SAVANNAH, Ga.----Armstrong Atlantic State University's Jamaal Galloway and Calvin Wilson scored 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds each Saturday afternoon to lead the Pirates to a 68-48 Peach Belt Conference victory over Lander at Alumni Arena.
Armstrong Atlantic improves to 11-5 overall and 5-4 in the PBC, while Lander drops to 6-10, 3-6.
Brenton Harris led the Bearcats in scoring with eight points, while Darius Johnson added six points and four rebounds.
Patrick Sanou added 13 points for the Pirates, while William Kane dished off a game-high 12 assists.
Armstrong Atlantic, which led 33-17 at halftime, made 27-of-56 field goals for 48.2 percent, including 9-of-20 three pointers for 45 percent. The Pirates also made 5-of-9 free throws for 55.6 percent.
Lander connected on 20-of-65 field goals for 30.8 percent, 4-of-22 three pointers for 18.2 percent and 4-of-9 free throws for 44.4 percent.
Both teams were credited with 39 rebounds.
