GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Kerri Sorensen recorded a double-double with 14 kills and 12 digs to lead the Lander University volleyball team to a three-game win over host Tusculum College Thursday night at Pioneer Arena. The Lady Bearcats won by scores of 30-23, 30-23, 30-22. Lander evens its record at 5-5, while Tusculum falls to 2-5 on the year.
Sorensen posted a .385 hitting percentage on the night, while Sara Senn added 11 kills and 12 digs in the winning effort.
The Pioneers were paced by Alexis Rowles dozen digs, while Shawna Voigt recorded seven kills and four digs for the home team.
Lander's Tracy Jacobs accounted for a match-high 20 digs, while setter Claire Damon posted 29 assists for the Lady Bearcats.
Lander will host Presbyterian College this Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
