AIKEN----Presbyterian College's Drew Biggs and Johann Collins scored 20 and 13 points respectively Friday night to lead the Blue Hose men's basketball team to a 77-61 non-conference victory over Lander in the annual PBC/SAC Clash hosted by USC Aiken.

Presbyterian improves to 5-1 overall, while the Bearcats drop to 1-3.

Lander's Jarred Jackson scored 13 points on 4-of-9 shooting, including 5-of-7 free throws. Michael Griffin added 11 points and Derek Brooks netted 10. Brooks and Scottie Smith led Lander in rebounds with five each.

PC, which led 43-26 at halftime, connected on 24-of-44 field goals for 54.5 percent, including 5-of-10 three-point shots. The Blue Hose were 24-of-33 from the free throw line for 72.7 percent. PC outrebounded Lander, 39-29.

Lander made 20-of-56 field goals for 35.7 percent and was 1-of-10 from the three-point line. The Bearcats made 20-of-31 free throws for 64.5 percent.

Lander will meet Newberry at 5:30 p.m., Saturday, at USC Aiken in the second night of the PBC/SAC Clash.
