Sarah DiSpaltro is entering her fourth season as head coach of the Lander acrobatics and tumbling program. DiSpaltro became the Bearcats' first acrobatics and tumbling coach when she was hired in November 2019.

During the 2021-22 season, DiSpaltro led the Bearcats to compete in their first NCATA National Championships, competing in the Acro (5-Element) and the Pyramid (Open) heats. Sarah Calk and Rosemary Sponable earned all-Conference Carolinas honors and Avery Marquis was named an honorable mention freshman of the week by NCATA.

DiSpaltro came to Lander from San Diego, Calif., where she served as the gymnastics coach for North County Gymnastics. DiSpaltro began her collegiate career at Azusa Pacific before competing in her final three seasons at Glenville State. In 2018, she helped lead the Pioneers to their first and only Open Pyramid national title. A 2019 graduate with bachelor's degrees in business management and athletic conditioning & coaching, DiSpaltro was a first-team all-Mountain East Conference selection in her senior season.
