GREENWOOD - The 10th ranked Lander men's tennis team defeated Newberry 6-1 Monday afternoon.  

Hugo Regner and Nick Beamish won their number one doubles match 6-1. Matthew De Groot and Markus Sorensen picked up the win at number two doubles 6-2. Thomas De Negri and Alexandre Crepy won their doubles match 6-1 to give the Bearcats the doubles point. 

Bailey Horne dropped his number one singles match to give Newberry their lone point. Nicolas Chan, Emilien Baradel, De Negri, De Groot, and Crepy won their singles matches in straight sets to give Lander the win.
