GREENWOOD - For the second-straight game, the lander offense exploded for four goals to defeat Albany State 4-0 Wednesday afternoon on Senior Day for the Bearcats.
In the sixth minute, Claire Regnault scored her second goal of the season on a double assist from Emilee Moberg and Mary Moosbrugger to give Lander the 1-0 lead. In the 29th minute, Alaire Hodge took a pass from Haneen Tamim to make it a 2-0 game. Less than three minutes later, Tamim scored her first goal of the season on an assist from Mia Piazza to give the Bearcats a three-goal lead. Piazza found Tamim for her second goal of the game in the 41st minute to round out the scoring for Lander.
The Bearcats held the Rams without a shot for 90 minutes while racking up 28 shots as a team.
