BOONE, N.C. - Lander Rugby brings home an astounding victory as they defeat Appalachian State 33-28. As the season progresses, the win over App. State keeps the postseason within reach.
Lander opened the match with a try by Ethan Richardson('3) and later from Max Ponce('33) in the first half. The match became very intense as trys were constantly exchanged through a very intense and physical match. Later on, the Bearcats exploded with tenacity as the second half of the match proved to be successful. Second half trys were scored by Toby Duggin('46), Travis Provost('68) , and the game-winning try by Holden Graham('78). All conversion were completed by Jerimiah Rosenbrook('3, '46, '68, '78).
