Bearcats face PBC road challenge at North Georgia on Saturday

DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The Lander women's soccer team will face another conference road test on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. as the Bearcats take on North Georgia.

STORYLINES:

• Lander (7-1-1, 2-1-1 PBC) is currently tied for fourth in the Peach Belt Conference standings with seven points.

• The top eight teams will qualify for the 2018 PBC Tournament, with the top four teams earning home-field advantage in the quarterfinals. 

• The Bearcats are looking for their first win over North Georgia (8-1, 4-0 PBC) since 2014. 

• The Nighthawks have shut out each of their last two opponents and are riding a six-match winning streak. 

• Lander has only allowed seven goals on the season, second-fewest in the conference. 

• North Georgia leads the league in goals scored, corner kicks and shots on goal.
