AMERICUS, Ga. – The Lander women's basketball team will attempt to bounce back from its first loss in 10 games as the Bearcats travel to Georgia Southwestern for a 5:30 p.m. clash on Monday night.

• Lander (18-6, 15-3 PBC) had its nine-game winning streak snapped with a 63-57 loss to Columbus State on Saturday. 

• The Bearcats defeated Georgia Southwestern (8-15, 5-12 PBC) 91-53 in Greenwood earlier this season. 

• The 38-point win is the largest margin of victory for the Bearcats this year. 

• In the last meeting between th Bearcats and Hurricanes, Tabitha Dailey scored a career-high 33 points. 

Jessica Harris leads the team with 121 assists and 75 steals, both tops in the Peach Belt Conference. 

• Harris and Mylea McKenith currently rank second and third in the league in scoring. 

• Lander entered the D2SIDA Women's Basketball National Poll at No. 22 this week.
