GREENWOOD – The Lander women's basketball team was picked third in the annual Peach Belt Conference Preseason Coaches Poll, the league office announced Wednesday.
The Bearcats have been selected to finish in the top-three of the league each of the past three seasons. Lander earned 93 points and are slotted behind North Georgia, who received all 11 first-place votes and 121 points, and Columbus State who received 103 points.
