Bearcats face North Georgia in PBC title bout

DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The second-seeded Lander women's basketball team (24-6) will play for the Peach Belt Conference tournament title for the third consecutive season on Sunday, as the Bearcats face top-seeded North Georgia (26-4) at 3:30 p.m.

• Lander (24-6) is appearing in the PBC title game for the eighth time in program history. The Bearcats are playing for their fifth tournament championship (1999, '08, '09, '16).

• The Bearcats were swept by North Georgia during the regular season. 

• Sunday's contest marks the first time in program history that Lander will appear in three consecutive PBC Tournament championship games.
