GREENWOOD – The Lander women's basketball team (13-5, 8-4 PBC) looks to get back on the winning track Saturday afternoon against Augusta (3-13, 1-10 PBC) in a 1:30 p.m. Peach Belt Conference tipoff at Finis Horne Arena.

• Lander is trying to avoid its first three-game losing streak since 2014, when the Bearcats dropped six consecutive games from Jan. 15-Feb. 5.

• The Lander cheerleaders and dance team will be hosting their "Bearcat Buddies" camp on Saturday. The "Bearcat Buddies" will perform on the court at halftime. 

• Senior Breshay Johnson needs 71 points to surpass Shannon McKever as Lander's all-time leading scorer. 

• Lander is the top free-throw shooting team in the PBC, converting 75.4 percent of its attempts from the line. 

• The Bearcats are 10-1 this season when scoring at least 70 points.
