Men's cross country finishes fourth at Flying Fleet Invitational

DUE WEST, S.C. – The Lander men's cross-country team raced to a fourth-place finish on Saturday at the Flying Fleet Invitational behind a top-five performance from Trent Powers

Powers used a time of 29:43 to finish fourth out of 50 participants. Mack Stancil finished 16th (30:47), followed by McKenna Burrows in 25th (32:21). 

Sam Smith (32:27) and Samonzy Wiggins (33:17) finished 27th and 29th, respectively. Chase Couch rounded out the Bearcats with a 37th-place finish (35:05). 

Lander will compete at the Upstate Invite in Spartanburg, S.C., on Oct. 5.
