HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – Jon Parker carded a final round 2-under 70 on Saturday at the NCAA South/Southeast Regional to finish in a tie for 34th.
Parker played even on the back nine and finished with a flourish, recording a pair of birdies on No. 7 and No. 8 to get to two-under on the day. His 37-spot jump on the leaderboard marked the largest movement upwards by any of the field's 108 players on the final day.
The junior led the Bearcats this season with three top-10 finishes and a scoring average of 73.6. Parker is the fourth Bearcat to finish in the top-32 at an NCAA Regional in the last four seasons.
