Lander in third place after two rounds at Bearcat Classic

GREENWOOD – The Lander men's golf team sits in third place after two rounds at the 10 annual Bearcat Classic at the par-72, 6,800-yard Greenwood Country Club. The tournament will conclude with the third and final found on Tuesday.

Lander shot an even 576 on the first day and is 13 strokes back of tournament leader Clayton State. Lincoln Memorial is in second-place, one stroke behind the Lakers.

Michael Brodie is tied for 14th at 143, while Jon Parker and Garrett Atkinson finished day one at an even 144 to tie for 16th. 

Maxime Legros is tied for 47th at 148 and Conor Cull rounds out the starting five in a tie for 63rd at 150. 

Lander will tee of Tuesday morning at 8:30 a.m. and will be paired with Clayton State and Lincoln Memorial.
