• Senior Srdjan Ivic poured in a career-high 18 points in the losing effort.

Saturday's contest will be the first meeting between the two teams since Anderson's dramatic win in 2013. With 12 seconds remaining in regulation and the Bearcats leading 60-59, the Trojans hauled in a defensive rebound and went the length of the court to force a Lander foul. Senior Myson Jones stepped up to the charity strike and knocked down two free throws to seal a 61-60 win for the Trojans.

• Anderson is the second of three teams from the South Atlantic Conference that the Bearcats will face this season.

• Lander registered a 4-7 record last season in non-conference matchups.
