GREENWOOD – Lander junior outfielder Roury Glanton was named second team All-Peach Belt Conference, the league office announced Thursday night.
The teams were selected in voting among the league's head coaches. Glanton becomes the fifth outfielder in program history to earn all-PBC honors.
Glanton wrapped up his first season in Greenwood with a .306 batting average with a team-high 13 home runs and 37 RBI. He also tallied seven doubles, one triple, four steals and a .633 slugging percentage.
The Carrolton, Georgia native is a two-time PBC Player of the Week. In the final month of the season, he hit .375 with 20 RBI while slugging .804 over the final 15 games.
