 STORYLINES

• Lander (17-30, 12-15 PBC) is currently ninth in the PBC standings.

• North Georgia (29-15, 16-8 PBC) enters the weekend on a four-game losing skid.

• The Bearcats must finish one game ahead of Georgia Southwestern, who faces UNC Pembroke, to clinch the eighth seed in the PBC Tournament. If Lander and Georgia Southwestern finish with identical records, the Hurricanes will advance to the tournament.

• UNC Pembroke can clinch the final spot in the tournament with a sweep of the Hurricanes and a North Georgia sweep over Lander.

• The Bearcats have homered in nine consecutive games, the longest such streak since a 12-game stretch from Mar. 24 to Apr. 11 in 2017.

• Lander won two out of three games against the Nighthawks last season, earning a spot in the PBC Tournament on the final day of the regular season.

• The Nighthawks have won four consecutive conference series.
