Lander wraps up March with home series against Augusta

GREENWOOD – The Lander baseball team (10-19, 4-11 PBC) looks to pick up its second straight series win this weekend as the Bearcats face Augusta (9-22, 6-15 PBC) at Dolny Stadium. The Bearcats and Jaguars will play on Friday at 6:00 p.m. and will play a doubleheader on Saturday beginning at 2:00 p.m.

• The Bearcats scored 28 runs in three wins over the Patriots, the most in a series since Lander plated 34 runs at Augusta last year. 

• Augusta has lost its last four contests. 

• Lander has won four consecutive home games, its longest such streak in the Jason Burke Era.
