No. 6 men's tennis heads to City of Florence Invitational

FLORENCE, S.C. – The No. 6-ranked Lander men's tennis team participates in the City of Florence Invitaitonal this weekend.

STORYLINES

• Lander (1-0) knocked off No. 19 Valdosta State 4-3 in the season opener.

• The Bearcats advanced to the championship match of last year's event.

• Lander will face Mount Olive Friday afternoon at 2:00 p.m.

• The Bearcats will also play on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

• Junior Kim Oshiro was tabbed as the Peach Belt Conference Player of the Week on Monday.

• Palm Beach Atlantic, Augusta, Francis Marion, Newberry, Barton, and Bluefield State are also participating.
