GREENWOOD  The Lander women's tennis team recorded its seventh home win of the season Tuesday afternoon, defeating North Greenville, 7-2, in a non-conference match on Senior Day at the Joe Cabri Tennis Complex.

Lander improves to 9-6, while North Greenville drops to 9-10.

In singles, No. 1 Yuriko Ono (LU) def. Christina Kiessling (NGU) 6-1, 6-1; No. 2 Ivanka Mocic ) def. Camille Duhan (NGU) 6-2, 6-2; No. 3 Fernanda Santos de Lucca (NGU) def. Caroline Yodice (LU) 6-2, 4-6 (10-7); No. 4 Nelli Lius (LU) def. Kylie Sandusky (NGU) 6-0, 6-1; No. 5 Julia Suzuki (LU) def. Graysen Elms (NGU) 6-1, 6-2; and No. 6 Faith Moyers (NGU) def. Lucia Ric (LU) 6-1, 6-3.

In doubles, No. 1 Yodice/Schulz (LU) def. Kiessling/Sandusky (NGU) 9-8; No. 2 Ono/Lius (LU) def. Dunham/de Lucca (NGU) 8-1; and No. 3 Mocic/Suzuki (LU) def. Elms/Mathis (NGU) 8-0.
