DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The Lander women's tennis team fell by a score of 5-3 to North Georgia in a Peach Belt Conference match on Tuesday afternoon at the UNG Tennis Complex.

UNG improves to 14-3 and 5-2 in PBC play, while Lander falls to 7-5, (3-4).

In singles, No. 1 Kathrin Waidner (UNG) def. Yuriko Ono (LUW) 6-4, 6-3; No. 2 Felicia Baratta (UNG) def. Ivanka Mocic (LUW) 6-3, 6-2; No. 3 Karina Gurgenyan (UNGW) def. Caroline Yodice (LUW) 6-1, 6-1; No. 4 Holly Bennett (UNG) def. Nelli Lius (LUW) 6-3, 6-2; No. 5 Julia Suzuki (LUW) def. Lexa Loden (UNG) 6-1, 7-5; and No. 6 Isabaella Schulz (LUW) def. Emma Etelalahti (UNG) 6-4, 6-3.
 
In doubles, No. 1 Waidner/Baratta (UNG) def. Schulz/Yodice (LUW) 8-3; No. 2 Ono/Lius (LUW) def. Bennett/Etelalahti (UNG) 8-5; and No. 3 Gurgenyan/Loden (UNG) def. Mocic/Suzuki (LUW) 8-4.
