DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The No. 5-ranked Lander men's tennis team's held off No. 13 North Georgia for its 10th consecutive victory on Tuesday afternoon at the UNG Tennis Complex.

Lander improves to 11-2 on the year and 7-0 in Peach Belt Conference play, while the Nighthawks falls to 14-2, (5-2). 

In singles, No. 1 Niklas Zielen (UNG) def. David Korsten (LU) 6-1, 6-1; No. 2 Alexander Reinauer (UNG) def. Jules Vauthier (LU) 6-2, 6-3; No. 3 Eirik Groner (LU) def. Hugues Renaud (UNG) 7-6 (7-5), 6-3; No. 4. Andre Canino (UNG) def. Ozan Cildir (LU) 6-4, 6-1; No. 5. Lukas Moritzen (UNG) def. Alexandre Springer (LU) 5-7, 6-4, 1-0 (11-9); and No. 6 Omar El-Moslemany (LU) def. Jared Bones (UNG) 6-4, 6-3.

In doubles, No. 1. Marc Hofer/El-Moslemany (LU) def. Zielen/Reinauer (UNG) 8-2; No. 2 Vauthier/Cildir (LU) def. Canino/Moritzen (UNG) 9-7; and No. 3 Korsten/Groner (LU) def. Renaud/Bones (UNG) 8-5.
