Men's golf finishes 11th at PBC Championship

PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. - The Lander men's golf team finished 11th overall Tuesday at the two-day, three-round Peach Belt Conference Championship Tournament hosted by Columbus State University at the par-72 Lake View Course.

UNC Pembroke, which tied USC Aiken with a low 872, won the tournament in a one-hole playoff. UNCP and USCA were followed by: 3. Georgia College 875, 4. Columbus State 882, 5. Armstrong Atlantic 886, 6. Georgia Southwestern 890, 7. Flagler 893, 8. Clayton State 905, 9. North Georgia 925, 10. Montevallo 932, and 11. Lander 942.

Individually for Lander, Neal Todd shot a 13-over-par 229 (74-78-77) and tied for 32nd, Oliver Van Nairn tied for 46th with 236 (83-72-81), Tucker Nelson placed 50th with 240 (79-75-86), Tanner Robb was 52nd with 243 (83-79-81) and Chad Siefert 55th with 252 (77-86-89).
