Bearcats In The Pros: Former 'Cats continue to impress

GREENWOOD  The professional baseball season is under way for three former Bearcats. Lander has three players in Class A, while two others await assignment for the 2017 season. 

Colby Lusignan -- 1B, Greensboro Grasshoppers (A - Miami Marlins) 
Season: 53 G, 27 R, 51 H, 13 2B, 3 3B, 4 HR, 34 RBI, 1 SB, .251 AVG
Lusignan's walkoff single on Thursday against Hagerstown sparked a four-game hitting streak for the Grasshopper first baseman. Greensboro's leading RBI producer is batting .300 over his last 10 games. 

Mason McCullough -- P, Visalia Rawhide (A-Advanced - Arizona Diamondbacks) 
Season: 2-0, 2.32 ERA, 23 G, 4 SV, 31.0 IP, 18 H, 8 R, 8 ER, 14 BB, 54 K
McCullough picked up his second victory of the seaon against San Jose on Friday, facing the minimum in two innings of relief. The right-hander has not allowed a run or a hit in any of his last six appearances. 

Brandon White -- P, Rome Braves (A - Atlanta Braves) 
Season: 1-0, 1.47 ERA, 18 G, 6 SV, 30.2 IP, 28 H, 10 R, 5 ER, 8 BB, 24 K
White tossed a scoreless ninth against on Friday against Asheville to pick up his sixth save of the season. Rome's saves leader has surrendered one run over his last 17.1 innings pitched, striking out 10 batters and walking one over that stretch. 

Additionally, outfielder Zach Daly (Miami Marlins) and pitcher Will Jones (New York Yankees) are awaiting their assignments.
