Bearcats In The Pros: Three Bearcats on pro rosters

GREENWOOD  The professional baseball season is under way for three former Bearcats. Lander has three players in Class A, while two others await assignment for the 2017 season. 

Colby Lusignan -- 1B, Greensboro Grasshoppers (A - Miami Marlins) 
Season: 48 G, 24 R, 45 H, 11 2B, 3 3B, 3 HR, 30 RBI, 1 SB, .246 AVG
Lusignan is in his first season in Greensboro after splitting time between the New York-Penn League and the Gulf Coast League last year. He leads the Grasshoppers with 30 RBI and has recorded 10 hits in his last seven games.

Mason McCullough -- P, Visalia Rawhide (A-Advanced - Arizona Diamondbacks) 
Season: 1-0, 2.57 ERA, 21 G, 4 SV, 28.0 IP, 18 H, 8 R, 8 ER, 14 BB, 49 K
McCullough is currently enjoying his finest season as a professional, posting the lowest ERA of his career and tying the team lead with 21 appearances out of the bullpen. The former fifth-round draft pick has not surrendered a run or a hit in any of his last four appearances. 

Brandon White -- P, Rome Braves (A - Atlanta Braves) 
Season: 1-0, 1.57 ERA, 16 G, 5 SV, 28.2 IP, 26 H, 10 R, 5 ER, 7 BB, 23 K
White has emerged as Rome's top closer in his first season in the South Atlantic League, leading the bullpen with five saves in 16 appearances. The right-hander has allowed just one run in his last 15.1 innings on the mound.

Additionally, outfielder Zach Daly (Miami Marlins) and pitcher Will Jones (New York Yankees) are awaiting their assignments.
