GREENWOOD - Lander's Kyle Boraski, a junior right hander from Fuquay Varina, N.C. was named the National Pitcher of the Week by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association it was announced today.

Boraski threw the third no-hitter in Lander baseball history in a 10-0 decision over Young Harris on Saturday.  Boraski walked two and struck out eight and only three Mountain Lions reached base. He ended up facing two batters over the minimum.

He set down the first nine batters he faced in order.  Boraski's no-hitter is the 22nd in PBC history, the first this season, and only the fifth in a conference game.

Earlier in the week, Boraski was named the PBC Pitcher of the Week.
