Lander (52-8), the Southeast Region champion, fell to No. 6 Southern Indiana, 6-5, on Monday, after defeating No. 5 Chico State, 6-4, on Saturday. Tampa, 52-3, lost to Southern Indiana in the first round, then defeated Chico State in the loser's bracket.
The Lander/Tampa winner will advance to play Southern Indiana at 7 p.m., Thursday. The Lander/Tampa loser will be eliminated.
The national championship game is set for 7 p.m., Saturday.
